Henry

Henry is my 11 yr old son. I have, of course changed his name for posting purposes. He is a very talented boy, and I am daily amazed and tickled with the fun he brings. He can write a mean essay, story, poem or thought. He is working on a book, which is getting rave reviews from us and his teachers. He can draw the most beautiful and amazing pictures. He is also a great cartoonist and has us giggling quite often. He is taking piano lessons and is very good, the only problem with that is he usually is to busy writing his own music to practice the assigned songs! His songs are beautiful and have great potential. His creativity and funny little thoughts are another reason I started my blog. I want to share them with everyone I know.

Here are a couple to wet your whistle.

The other night he was washing dishes and very frustrated at having to do chores. He has a temper and growls a lot, he is trying to control his temper. Instead of growling he started to sing,
"I'm walking and washing
I'm doing my chores.
I really don't like them
please don't give me more."

What a funny guy.

He has spelling every week and does not like to do the sentences. I made him sit and do them while I was around. Two of the sentences are called D.O.L (Daily oral language) He began a title on his page;

"D.O.L D.O.L is dull!"

I love my son!!!
